Take a trip to downtown Buffalo to visit the
Buffalo Zoo! It’s a lot of fun for all ages. The unlimited amount of things to
see and visit is amazing. There are mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and
so much more to explore! The latest excitement is the new baby polar bear, the
big talk of the Zoo. As you enjoy your visit, you can stop for a bight to eat
at the many food shacks and special treat stands. The food tends to please
many, and there are unlimited kinds of interesting drinks to buy. There are
also many special events at the Zoo for certain days. For example, June 14
th
is High Five for the Military, and they have a 2013 Buffalo Zoo Photo Contest
day for all the photographers out there to submit their best picture from their
visits. There are also different programs and events to be a part of. The Zoo
can hold birthday parties and scout and teen programs to get involved in. There
is a chance to adopt an animal and get involved with funds and campaigns to
help the animals and Zoo financially. The Buffalo Zoo is proudly dedicated to
conservational education and many different efforts. You are able to become a
volunteer at the Zoo and spend even more time around the great environment, people,
and especially the animals. The hours for the Zoo are very flexible with the
week. They are open mostly every day to keep the people happy and always give
people something entertaining to do. There is no doubt that the Zoo is an
entertaining place to go! So hitch a ride and head down to the Zoo! Visit 300
